rag week exhibition notes

for children in need we did a rag week and came in in differant stuff each day. for the rag week we had to come in dressed to the theme of the day for each day.

on tuesday i set the lights up and changed them around when the person controlling the camera wanted the lights to be adjusted. i took the 3 photos of sam after i had my photos taken.

studio lighting

redhead- the redhead is used as the main room lighting for the shot because of the amount of light it produces. some times 3 redheads are used to light the whole room up and reduce the amount of shadows in the shot.

deflectors- deflectors are used to lower shodows and increase the amount of light without using more lights in defferant areas. you can use pices of paper or anything light coloured to deflect light when needed.

the world turned upside down

when i took this picture we were looking around for places to take pictures and i dropped in to the ramp and took the photo.











i took this picture because i caught a glance of the tree and it look like the tree was apart of the mall. i didn't take much time to take the photo.
